Completed in June 2012, the 145 meter towers’ Masharabiya shading system was developed by the computational design team at Aedas. Using a parametric description for the geometry of the actuated facade panels, the team was able to simulate their operation in response to sun exposure and changing incidence angles during the different days of the year.
A famous theme park which features one of the biggest dome in the world and the fastest roller coaster in existence.
Worked on this towards the completion of the project March – Oct 2010.
Contract Value 2.500.000 Dirham. Man force 36 R.A.T. 15 ground technicians.
Various installation of special effects namely turbo blowers, confetti cannons, balloons, laser beams, and various pyrotechnic effects inside the main stadium. Work on a tight deadline of teams from New Zealand, Nepal, the Philippines, and U.K. Problematic was working around performers rehearsing for ceremony.
