In early years, while still on non resident studies I have become man assigned to special projects.
Main was...
I was responsible for network coverage telecom towers installations across South West part of Poland. Hundreds installations with multiple teams in race against competitor.
Besides...
professional diving and explosives projects were part of company services. I have over 1200 work dive hours in all possible conditions, Dives at locations: dams, rivers, lakes, quarries, flooded mines and caves. With worst possible waters: visibility zero, temp zero with rip currents and changing risk factors.
Some demolition of chimneys and underwater tasks were done using high explosives.
I have been the youngest diver awarded diving certificate at that time, following short career with military I had relevant qualifications and background to be assigned to "special projects" as manager.

Me and Eric are friends since young age. 20 years ago, Eric trained me in rope access and took me with him on his jobs. At that time he was starting on non-resident studies and working freelance on special projects where work at height, diving, and explosives. Much later, I followed his path and obtained world-wide recognized qualifications. Among our circles, Eric was known as the guy who always walks his own path and a finder of out of the box ways. We have saying about him: “Who is it? Too high or too low, and when on the ground, explodes.” Real life Dirk Pitt from books Clive Cussler
